Your responsibilities
As a Test Developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing test plans, scenarios, scripts and procedures to ensure software quality and functionality.
You will work closely with software developers, product managers, and other team members to identify and prioritize testing needs and ensure software releases meet or exceed expectations. Your responsibilities will include creating and executing test scenarios, analyzing test results, and reporting bugs and issues to development teams.
Finally, you will be expected to stay current on industry trends and best practices related to testing and quality assurance and continually improve testing processes and methodologies to ensure optimum performance and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for the Test Developer role, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Relevant work experience in software testing, quality assurance or software development is also required. Candidates must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as experience creating and executing test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python or C# is preferred, as well as experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Appium or JMeter. Candidates should have experience with agile development methodologies and be able to work collaboratively with development teams and other stakeholders. Additionally, candidates must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and be able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Finally, candidates must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
